I had a fantastic time! The decor was charming and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Plus, the little tea and coffee station with that shortbread biscuit was such a nice touch!

jewel guest house is a lovely refurbished place. the room was large with great light, and the bed was super comfy. the bathroom was great, too. it's just a ten-minute walk to the city center and a tea and coffee station in the room is a nice touch. plus, our host booked us into the jewel in the crown restaurant, which had amazing food and service.

Comfortable room, great amenities, with fast Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, made my stay enjoyable. the location is excellent, just a short distance from the city center and around 10 km from the nearest airport.

The tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch, especially after a long day exploring. the lack of staff presence was unsettling. I didn’t see anyone after check-in during my four-day stay. There were no options to decline cleaning, which I expected. the amenities listed online didn’t match reality. no bathrobe or slippers upon arrival. Noise from the street affected my sleep, as the windows didn’t block it well. Wi-Fi connectivity was a problem too, as it frequently dropped, making it frustrating to use. While the location was great for accessing Union Street, these issues put a damper on my visit.
